What should I do if my child is sick?
If your child has sickness or diarrhoea they should be absent from nursery until at least 48 hours after their last bout. These procedures ensure the health and safety of everyone at Eastwood Nursery. There is no exclusion period for children with hand foot and mouth or conjunctivitis– however you should seek medical advice. If your child has chicken pox they should stay home until all spots are scabbed over and no longer seeping. If in doubt about whether your child should attend please do not hestitate to call the nursery and ask.
Please all the nursery to let us know your child will be absent that day so we can let their keyworker know.
